Hey everyone
As a bit of a study and fun, I'm trying to copy an extract of music, not directly, just to get a similar sort of in-your-face "dry" feel. Aside from the fact that the sound quality of the cover is nowhere near up to par with the original, and instruments are different - percussion is harsher etc, I wanted to ask how does the original have such a broad and thick/full stereo image, like a soundscape almost, you really have a feel for space. Very "pleasing" sounding, whilst mine still lacks depth, despite a variety of panning L/R, combined panning, mono/stereo tracks and mic positions?
Thank you!!
