How do you compensate for it?
It smoothes out the sound quite significantly just by turning it on. But when i try to
to get at least some of the clarity and detail back into the picture, like with the accompanying EQF-100, i'm not really getting there.
The thing is, i really like how effortless the compressor works on nearly everything. But this roll-off makes it a more limited tool than it has to be, imo. It's probably how the original hardware behaves, and they've been true to that. But a simple "roll-off" switch or something like that would make the (software) unit so much more usable for me.
Any experiences, ideas, hints?
