Hi, I play in a christian rock band and we play a decent amount of outdoor shows. We have a yamaha emx512 powered mixer and a behringer PMP2000 powered mixer just due to us coming together and having this gear. We have a Peavey 12" monitor and a 15" monitor. I came across a guy selling two Yamaha A15s that are in amazing condition for $200 for the pair. First off is this a smart purchase? (note that we are in no way prepared to spend a significant amount of money right now, just want something to pump some music through)
Secondly, If we were to make this purchase would it be feasible to run an electric drum kit through this PA as well as guitars and vocals? I have a decent bass rig so would not need to worry about that. Also would you recommend running the behringer for the mains and then running the yamaha for the monitors to be able to utilize the bridged mode of the behringer?
