Hi all,
I’m putting together a 2010 MacPro 5,1 and would like to set it up as a dual boot system..
I want to split a 500GB SSD into 2 equal partitions with OS X 10.7 on one and OS X 10.10 on another.
I want to install DP7 with exclusively 32 bit plugins on the 10.7 partition and DP8 with exclusively 64 bit plugins on the other.
There will be another SSD holding sample libraries and projects.
Are there any pitfalls with doing this?
I may be accessing the same sample libraries from each OS from time-to-time..will this create potential for errors or 'confusion' between the OS's?
