Network Attached Storage - for home...

Hi -



I'm looking into Network Attached Storage devices and am wondering what you are all using and how you like it. Basically, I'm looking for mirrored long term storage for everything in the house...



devices using the storage would include:

• a few ipads


• studio PC ( a place to save rough mixes to)


• house PC (typical finances, etc)


• droid phone

I'd like to also get the itunes library on the NAS.



There are devices by Western Digital Digital, Netgear, and then a bunch of names I had not heard of before but computer mag reviews say are decent...(Asutor, Synology, QNAP).



Looking for 4-8GB of mirrored storage...



Anyone have any experiences / recommendations?
