Need help deciding on a PC2 76 for sale on e-bay...

There is PC2 76 on e-bay listed as new for $799. The guy says that he purchased it new 2 months ago, checked it out and it works fine. He has decided to sell it. He did not give a reason why.



I want to ask him where he found a brand new PC2 in the box just 2 months ago. I also want to ask him for his reason for selling it. Finally, I want to ask him how familiar he is with the keyboard to determine if he was really able to thoroughly test it. However, I don't want to offend him. I have never bought anything used on e-bay before. And technically this is used, and form a private seller.



He has no other items listed but has 445 previous sales, a 100% rating, and great reviews.



I am scared of getting burned. What steps do you guys take to feel more comfortable buying from e-bay and are there things in place on e-bay to really protect the buyer with-out taking legal action.



If it is too good to be true it usually is. But I have read posts on this very forum of amazing finds on e-bay.



What would you guys do if you were me? Please help me not make a mistake....
