Sports broadcast for LOUD arenas

So, I'm pretty green at this whole sports broadcast thing, but I've been working as an A1 for a pretty prominent college in sports with broadcast to a fairly prominent online network. I have more of a studio background but this work has been pretty fun.

My broadcasts in our outdoor stadiums usually sound pretty darn good, as well as indoor stadiums at lesser attended games. The serious problem I am having is that it becomes nigh impossible to get a decent sound indoors when the talent mics are picking up all of the ambient sounds of a heavily attended game with the band going off and the buzzer and crowds going wild... It gets so bad that I can't even use any of my ambient mics because the bleed is so intense in the talent headsets. The talent sits in a crow's nest above the stadium and I know that the big TV network crews use the same setup and get way better results... They are even using the same headsets (Sennheiser HMD 26).

Does anyone have any advice or words of wisdom for this sort of thing? I was sort of dropped into this world without any guidance or anything. The primary sport played in this particular arena is basketball, if that helps. I'm working with pretty limited gear, I have two Rode NT5, two Rode NTG2, and each of the talent use Sennheiser HMD 26 II headsets. I also take feeds off of cameras quite often. Just sucks that I can't use that stuff at some of the louder games.
