So I really wanna buy the genelec 7260 subwoofer, since I already own a pair of 8240a. I'm currently playing audio from an Steinberg MR816 CXS, which is connected with my 8240a through the analog input. I recently found out the subwoofer could only be used through an digital source, which makes me choose to either change my audio source, or look for an converter. One thing is sure, I won't be changing my audio interface, so I will have to dive in into converters. I'm gonna be honest, and say that I don't know that much about them, so I thought maybe some of you could tell me your experiences with converters, and what I should pay the most attention to, when looking for one.
I've had a look at the Genelec AD9200 converter, but it's way over my budget, which is approx 300£, so I thought of buying something alternative to the genelec one.
