Hi guys,
I will try and explain this best I can. I have two pedals. My guitar goes into a fuzz that goes into an overdrive. Pretty simple right?
My fuzz suddenly started making some unwanted noise when I turned the fuzz up so I took it to a guy to get fixed. He said there was a blown capacitor and now it was fixed. I took it back, same problem. I found out it was actually one of the jack leads that was the problem.
But now, since he has messed with it, there is another problem that I don't remember before. The fuzz sounds a lot darker. When I engage it it goes more muffle like and dull. Yet when I disengage the overdrive pedal the volume of the fuzz gets a lot louder and clearer. This didn't happen before. Could this be all from a capacitor change? If so how would I get the sound back. Am I going insane here??
Thanks for any info and help in advance guys :)
