Hello my dear slutz. I am the live sound engineer at a club here in Austin Tx. One stage is in a small wood room. I'd say 30x45. Can fit 100 people or so. Some interesting sounds come out of this room. The wood sounds cool and sucks at the same time. Here is my question. We are getting crazy backlash from the cops recently. I have been doing things the same for ever. Cops say its too loud. (It isnt. I clock it at 60db at property line) but low end is a problem. Do you guys use diffusers in your clubs? Its loud as heck in this room for sure. Have any of you made treatments? And the single most important question.. I don't know how to tell where to put these treatments. Excuse my ignorance. How do you tell where is the best place to put a treble trap? Or bass trap? Thanks guys
