Hello, I have a question. I have never worked on a high end console like a Neve, SSL or the like with lots of nice outboard equipment. All my mixes have been on DAWs with some (good) outboard and whilst I'm not a professional I don't think I really suck.
I thought about renting a nice professional place for a couple of days to mix our next album.
I'd like to educate myself and experience about how it is to mix exclusively analog (have done that on a homerecording basis only).
Out of your experience do you think this is a good plan or a waste of money? What would be the culprints? How to prepare for this adventure?
Thanks a lot, Claus

Renting a studio for mixing - smart or not?
