Hello GAS ''aficionados'' im here with big question for me so i need your expertise
Im currently using a Windows 8 i3 laptop for my production needs, but now that im in my last gear of production college i have the opportunity to get a mac(which is what i always wanted).
With the actual money i have 2 options: a i7 mac mini quad core or a i5 2.5ghz macbook pro.
Im leaning over the mac mini because i already have a laptop which i pretend to keep maybe, even so i do not make mobile recordings too much so im thinking its more convenient to have a desktop mac.
But my question its if its the mac mini its capable for music production and big work. My principal worry its the heat problema and things like that. Any of you use a mac mini professionaly? some experiences and thoughts maybe?
Any of you know if its upgradeable?
i know the macbook pro its good because i have seen it in action but i never saw a macmini in a studio hence this question.
Hope you can help me decide, im a student and my big sis it the one buying so i want to choose well.
